Definition
Formerly an open-source CDE platform, now AI agent sandbox infrastructure.
Daytona pivoted away from cloud development environments entirely, and as of June 2026 its public repository is unmaintained with core development moved to a private codebase. It is therefore neither a CDE nor effectively open source today, despite still appearing on many CDE comparison lists.
