Popular in regulated industries. Coder ships two editions: Community (free, open source, self-hosted) and Premium (annual per-user, sold through sales - Coder does not publish a Premium price). Naming note for anyone reading older docs: "AI Bridge" was renamed AI Gateway and "Agent Boundaries" was renamed Agent Firewall in April 2026, and Coder Tasks is being removed from new releases starting with v2.37 on 09-01-2026, superseded by Coder Agents (beta since 05-06-2026).
